    Let me say the product is exactly as advertised and packaged exceedingly well! The problem lays with the vendors used to ship the product. Vendor used was way late and did not make estimate delivery time, nor did they meet their scheduled day of delivery. It was pushed out to arrive on one day by 7pm then kicked to the next day and another. Original shipping vendor UPS transferred it to USPS. I've had similar problems with other vendors doing the same. Either ship all UPS or all USPS.

      I highly recommend this product, it's a replacement for water on your diamond laying stone.

      I decided to test my new shapton pro stone collection i ordered: 1000,5000,8000,12000 grits asking with my steel plate. After i created a new bevel in my cheap aluminum knife on the steel plate using this diamond stone lapping fluid and it worked nicely, all you need is 4 or 5 drops to work your knife then began using the ceramic stones. The results in the very end were a scary more than shaving sharp knife.

      Not worth the cost

      I’m a hobbyist work smith and metal smith. This Trend Lapping fluid was miraculously UNIMPRESSIVE. I have used stone and diamond sharpening stones with water, oils, Windex, dry and various sharpening/lapping fluids recommended by others. Trying to find a perfect combo for sharp chisels, knives and tools. For me, this fluid shows the result of good marketing. The cost does NOT provide the benefits touted. For about 1/10th the cost cheap window cleaner does just as well and is easier to clean off the Diamond Stone. My results are in accordance with manufacturers recommendations. Use Water with water stones; Oil with oil stones; and for Diamond Stones: use dry, plain water or my preferred cheap window cleaner. I believe the small amount of soap both lubricates and helps clean the stones ...

      Lapping Fluid

      lapping fluid used along with a file to sgarpen drill bits.works very well,was going to toss some of my old bits. Then tried using a file and lapping fluid, My bits were sharp cut easly into wood no burning. When using the sharpend large bit in my lathe booring 2 1/2 hole no burn out or pull the machine with green wood. great product.
