FM -good. SW so-so. Weather Band -OK. AM-useless! My CC Radio EP Pro is the "gold standard" for AM and FM reception and rates 5 stars. Yes, the CC radio was way more $, but my Retekess TR604W (four stars) (ca. $30 from Jeff Bezos) is WAY better than KA390 on AM, and somewhat better on Weather band. Unlike the KA390, the TR604W does not have annoying false peaks on either side of the desired frequency. Buy the cheaper TR604 if you only want AM & FM. I really like mine! You will like it!
