Shipping was fast, but the Fitbit box was damaged, it had been opened at the bottom and taped closed, and the part of the box with the charger was torn, it was missing the instructions. This is NOT an unopened box. The Fitbit inside was not working, the battery is shot. I'm suspicious that they bought a bunch for a promotion and these have been sitting on the shelf for years.

Device synced very easily to the app on my phone though default settings were in some cases odd, especially how it calculated your calorie "budget." The fit bit is grest in that it combines in one device a bunch of things that I used to need separate devices or apps for:pedometer, food log, heart rate monitor. The silent alarm is also handy at work where I cannot access my phone. I took off a star due to battery life. Fit bit advertises up to 5 days of battery life, but right out of the box I barely get two days. Fortunately I have a long enough commute to charge it while I drive. Not sure if its a particular defect of the Charge 1 itself or just this tracker. Other reviews seem to state a similar issues though on here. Gotta Love Fitbit!
I love the Charge HR. The Fitbit app is the best thing out there. They have quality products which last. The only downfall to the Charge is that you are limited to the one band with no way to change it out.

Good replacement for my Zips, which were my previous favorite. I want something simple that provides me with the basic info I want, without tons of bells and whistles which I do not need. Using the app, there's a lot of things that can be done with the Charge beyond the basic info provided on the device itself.
