Well, for the informative nature of things. This switch is not like the reference switch that took me to this seller. For the Lakewood heater model 7000A, that double throw switch has the male spades on each end of the throw connected to one another. This switch looks very much alike but, is NOT the same switch. Ebayers don't know that. Live and Learn, I did!

I'm not blaming the seller, the seller didn't make these switches. I have a couple of 30 year old Lakewood oil filled electric heaters that the original switches are going bad in. These switches are the exact replacements, everything about them is the same but they don't work. Plug the heater in and the lights on the switches come on even if the switches are off, no power goes through them. I have taken the switches apart and inspected all parts, still not working.
