- 7***a (265)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseThese are great quality - however, they are not buoyant - and will sink if they fall out of the boat. To fix this, I bought some 1.5" diameter polyethylene closed cell foam (it's the same kind as used to insulate pipes, but solid core) from an eBay seller called Honor Trading. 6x 35" L tubes of foam was ~$20. I found that two 35" L x 1.5" D tubes of foam fit in the oars and was enough to float a 5 lb weight - each oar weighed 4.2 lbs, so that was sufficient to make the oars float!

The oars were perfect, but the other part that I ordered somewhere else didn't work as expected. So the project failed and currently I have no use of these oars, but if I had a real rowing boat I would definitely buy these.

When it arrived on Wednesday, it was missing one of the top bows. I contacted the seller and within a few texts we had straightened out the issue and a replacement part was shipped.
