    love the volume control

    I didn't need all the different noises, but I did want more volume control after my last one died. This one can get louder than I'll ever need, giving me all levels of volume - something my last one didn't give me as much. I also love the smaller size. This one would be easy to pack for trips, taking up little room in a suitcase.

    Doesn't lay flat. Tiny "breaks" in sound

    The AC plus in on the back of the unit instead of one of the sides, so It can never sit flat. It must always be propped up like it is in the photo. There are also tiny "breaks" in the sound (at least with the white noise sound option) whenever it repeats. My kids don't care and it does not seem to bother them, but I've had other sound machines in the past that have a truly continuous sound.

    Ok foe white noise only

    I was not impressed with the sound effects. Since I only wanted white noise it is fine for the cost. If I had wanted other quality sounds this would not have been a good purchase.

    Great for the price!

    I got this after moving my son into his own room to help keep exterior noise down and it was the best price I found. We’ve only had it for a few days but so far it’s worked extremely well the dial adjustable volume is excellent for getting just the right level and the sounds are pretty good, the crickets are our favorite. We live in the south and hear bugs outside all year and it’s VERY realistic and calming.

    Affordable quality sleep enhancement

    I was quite surprised at the quality of this little unit. It has a good, basic variety of sounds to help you fall asleep and I especially like the timer feature. You can set it for 30, 60 or 90 minutes. It's the perfect size to fit on a small night stand too.
