Have used many types of sharpeners and this is by far the easiest to use. Anyone can use it. The box that holds the progressively finer sharpening "grits" has a non-skid base making it stable while using. Get the results of a very expensive professional sharpener !

The sharpening face is a little small for larger knives. Works fine for a 4-5 in blade but not much more than that. The base slides around too much when sharpening. That being said, having 4 grit sizes is well worth the cheap price

I’d tried five or six sharpeners for my narrow-width lathe blades and none put a proper edge on the blades, until I got this sharpener. Absolutely fantastic, easy to,use, after practicing with a couple of blades I was soon putting super-sharp edges on my blades and it couldn’t be easier. Very highly recommended!!

I have a comercial old wooden butcher block, with assortment of old butcher knives, and collect antique sharpening stones in cast iron holders, some dated in the 1800s.....Have been sharpening knives since I was a kid, and am always sharpening knives for others, I saw a young man using this sharpener at A swapmeet and not doing a good job, I showed him how to use the sharpener and in short order he was putting a nice edge on knives, When I got home I looked on line for one of these sharpeners, found one and bought it......sharpens a knife quickly, with out using cutting oils or other liquids, works quick and easy.......
