    Not the "remote" I was expecting

    Came with 4 speed wall switch that needed to be wired in. The numbers for the speeds seemed backward from what I would expect. I would think 1 would be lowest setting, but it is high. I was expecting a wireless remote. Since this was a new installation, not that big of a deal.

    It moves mucho AIR !!!!!

    I tried to install this fan with the exsititing down rod...No Joy !! The tiny screws, that allow you to attach the down rod to the fan..are impossible to remove !! As I stripped 2 Philips heads...trying to back them out !! It's as if someone put LokTite on them !! Thankfully, I was replacing this fan with a similar one....that had the ability to back out the screws so I could attach everything ! I only had one issue there, where I had to ril out the hole in the old rod to accomodate the newbolts !! It now works great, but only because of my ingenuity !! Bottom line,....It was a PITA to install !!!!!!!

    Great fan with only one small design quirk.

    This fan puts out a great deal of air and it is very quiet. I placed it in my workshop and it does the job much better than I expected. The only issue is that the reversal switch is under the trim cover and requires the cover to be unscrewed and lifted, to reverse the fan rotation. It is not a big problem but seems a bit poorly though out. A simple hole in the cover trim piece would have fixed the access problem. I will buy another of these fans because it is VERY quiet for the volume. Over 9,300 cfm is a lot of air and the price was exceptional. It was very simple to install and all the necessary hardware was included.

    solid buy

    These fans are used in our church and move a great deal of air. The blades are made of some molded composite and as such, have the best design and construction I've seen in a ceiling fan. They are far superior to wooden/masonite blades. Buy with confidence, this is a great unit.
