Synopsis
This book is a calculus-based microeconomic theory text for undergraduates and graduates that successfully balances theoretical/intuitive (verbal), graphical (visual), and mathematical presentation in order to appeal to various learning styles. The text combines theory and applications more completely than most offerings in this course area, and bridges the gap between low-level texts that relegate math to footnotes and upper-level texts that focus only on math at the expense of theory and applications., No matter your background, this is the microeconomics textbook that will help you succeed. MICROECONOMIC THEORY: CONCEPTS AND CONNECTIONS combines verbal, visual, and mathematical explanations to make learning microeconomics easy. MICROECONOMIC THEORY: CONCEPTS AND CONNECTIONS bridges the gap between lower-level and higher-level microeconomics textbooks, making it an ideal learning tool.

- r***y (295)- Feedback left by buyer.Past yearVerified purchaseOrdered because of non-stock photo and described condition, received a book with a huge "RENT ME" sticker that wraps around the front and spine. Clearly not the book in the listing or even similar, classic bait and switch. Aside from that, the book was probably in better shape before it got shipped. It was packaged only in plastic, no bubble, no cardboard. The corners of the hardcover are all smashed. Now I get to take a hair dryer and try to remove the sticker and own a tumbled looking bookA Friendly Introduction to Number Theory. 3rd edition. Joseph Silverman (#256593646615)
