Before ordering the Coconut Tool I would use a large sharp knife as well as my wife. Many times the knife would almost cut us. Also i could never get the Coconut Meat out in large pieces. Now I can get it out in one to two pieces. It takes a little strength and some practice but professional results will surely please you. It is made very well and very strong. A great tool to own if you like fresh Coconut Meat.
