I completely bought the wrong size gauge and completely bought the wrong size diameter for anybody with a bigger nose go 20 gauge and 8 mm diameter or bigger. Nose piercing should not go smaller than 20 gauge. I call the people that Pierce my nose and they said no one should ever go smaller than 20 gauge. 18 or 20 gauge only. This is my opinion from a trained piercing facility. The right nose piercing is the right size. The hoop is the wrong size.
