Beast retention system on the market, bar none!!!! Mirror finish and nickle plating excellent, it would be nice if Noctua had a direct contact heatpipe version. Fan is high quality but they should drop the flesh color and they would sell more. They do have other colored fans but they high dollar but you get what you pay for in this case. All in All the best cooler out there.

I bought this fan to replace my stock cooler so I can overclock. I've heard nothing but good things about Noctua's stuff, and I'm scared as hell to bother with water cooling. I don't really mind how loud it is, just so long as it keeps my cpu cool. The instructions were fine and the installation took me maybe 10~15 minutes or so. My i7-3770k is running at 4.5ghz with a decent 62c at full load. Well worth the cost, I'd definitely recommend. I bought this fan to replace my stock cooler so I can overclock. Amazing Cooler
I had a cooler that wasn't working too well, so I decided to replace it, at the end of it's life it started to sound like a turbo engine even when idle, it was a stock AMD cooler. So I got this cooler, not only is it completely silent, but it actually makes the temp stay stable no matter how many cores on my octo core are running. I'm extremely happy with this product and recommend it to everyone. The one thing I'll say and I can't stress this enough PLEASE MEASURE YOUR TOWERS BEFORE BUYING THIS COOLER. I have a mid-range tower and it's so big that it almost touches the side.I had a cooler that wasn't working too well, so I decided to replace it, at the end of it's life it started to sound like a turbo engine even when idle, it was a stock AMD cooler.
