You get what you pay for. I’ve never seen such poorly tapped threads. I was able to save it with a 14m x 1.5 tap and die set tho. It wasn’t worth the hassle I should’ve just used the nut the tie rods came with. Theyre cool looking but kinda pointless in hindsight. If you really want some just fork up the $40 for the rough country set
