Good solid wire...used for car audio. I wanted a kind of blue/black or blue/gry kind of a theme and used this for the majority of my door speakers and mids and highs and it works great. It's thick enough but not too thick to not be able to slide freely around the tight spots. I do prefer the more "matte like" texture of the outside insulation/jacket of the wire and this is more of the thinner clear kind of wire, so that's why I gave it a 4 because, in my opinion, that kind of outside jacket of the wire is the best, so this was one below that... but it's still solid. I definitely recommend it. Good quality for the price. Good solid wire...used for car audio. I am very pleased with the quality of this blue 16 gauge wire. One strand has a white stripe to keep the plus and minus speaker terminals oriented. I particularly like that is is blue. I have enough red and black wires running behind my furniture.

Heavy duty speaker wire.
Wire is very heavy duty, thick enough for a lamp cord. Kind of overkill for the small satellite speakers I wired up. Would work great with big speakers pumping hundreds of watts. 50 feet isn't as long as you think when running up walls and around corners, so don't think 25 feet will be enough.
