Excellent value and construction
I was looking for a simple, well-constructed leather half-case for my Sony a7ii when not using an L-bracket and traveling light. I considered several models, including some over $100 when I happened upon this one. Since I can easily charge the camera through the accessory panel, I chose this option without the battery access panel in black leather and stitching. The half-case easily mounts to the camera body using a coin to attached the provided brass screw to the tripod mount and fits snugly. I owned a Sony faux leather case for my A6000 and this fits as well and is made of better materials. The interior of this half-case has a smooth camel-colored suede lining that provides protection when mounted. When the case is on the camera, there is no obstruction to the screen or any other ... When the case is on the camera, there is no obstruction to the screen or any other buttons and slightly improves the grip by adding about .75 cm to the length. The pebble finish of the leather is quite attractive and a little leather dressing brings out the color nicely. I am not sure whether or not the materials used are composite leather, but in either case, it is nicely done for the price point. In short, this is a very nice leather half-case and well worth the investment. A soft, draw string storage pouch is also included with this half case and should seal the deal for anyone sitting on the fence. Good luck with your decision!
