    Easy to fit

    Thought I'd better check on YouTube to see if I could fit it myself. It's so easy and helps that the part is a perfect fit. Took me about ten minutes to fit, when I had the old part out I put it next to the new one and apart from it looking clean it was exactly the same! Anyway I fitted it and now have a perfectly working heater fan.

    Cured the the problem of the heater fan only working on the low or high settings.

    Difficult to replace, limited access, but that is due to the car not the component.

    Works as advertised

    This component, actually a tapped wire-wound resistor, seems identical to the original. Once fitted-which, on a Mk4 Mondeo is a bit of a pain-you'll need a T20 Torx bit and a small electric screwdriver, or, as I did, a cordless drill with a 30cm flexible drive. Also needed to remove the glove box...

    This appeared to be a genuine European part not a cheap import. It actually looked a bit more substantial than the orginal. It fitted perfectly, screw holes lined up etc and worked fine. Very pleased with the service and the quallity of the product.
