    The Gitzo Series 4 6X GT4552TS tripod is a carbon fiber tripod that utilizes advanced construction technology to provide a durable and stable platform for professional level photography applications. The carbon fiber tripod material produces a platform that weighs considerably less than traditional tripods yet increases the overall strength of the unit. The Gitzo Series 4 6X GT4552TS tripod offers very rapid setup with the quick lock system while maintaining the strength and rigidity necessary in a stable photographic platform. The quick lock system on the Gitzo tripod allows easy and extremely fast adjustment by locking each leg into place securely with innovative rubber locking grips that keep dust and water out and allow for tripod setup in seconds. The Gitzo tripod has set screws that secure the mounting plate, which allows any type of tripod head to be attached securely to the unit making it adaptable to a wide range of photographic equipment as well as binoculars, spotting scopes, and telescopes. The anti-rotation system on the Gitzo tripod prevents unwanted leg rotation, which further acts to stabilize the unit and enables quick height transition.
