The good stuff
I’m a big fan of Mountain House meals. They are easy to pack, relatively light weight, and I have found them to be quite tasty. They provide a good bit of calories and energy after a long day hunting in the mountains. Mountain House Rocks!
Right off not everyone has the same taste. I LOVE the Beef Stew, Rice & Chicken, and Beef Stroganoff. Chilimac was OK, as was the Lasagna, and Chicken Teriyaki. Granola was excellent, Biscuits and Gravy were OK, Breakfast Skillet was very good. I highly recommend you find single packets to try before you buy a case . Cases do come in assorted sizes with mixed contents. For camping they can't be beat. Boil some water and pour it in the pouch, wait 10 minutes and chow down.
