    Good to know the temperature throughout the house.

    Nest sensors work well and provide alternate thermostat location control. I like being able to control the heat/cool in a bedroom instead of the hallway where most thermostats are installed. It’s also nice to know how hot the attic is getting throughout the day or how cold the garage gets during the winter.

    work as great thermometers - not so good as intelligent sensors

    While they do what they do accurately, they do not work together at all. All they can do is be set to a schedule in my thermostat as to when to be the sensor that takes priority. so the system will heat/cool to that sensor's temp the rest are ignored. I had mine set to use the sensor where I watch TV in the evenings. The rest of the house gets a bit warm as the TV is in my family room in the basement. If I do not watch TV, I am either very hot or I must interface with the thermostat to change the settings. There should be a "hey you are not here" mode built into the sensor and Nest should intelligently use the sensor where I am without me needing to do anything.

    I was expecting brand new

    Although it wasn’t brand new and had some lots of dust on the sensors (the battery was also turned on) so was hoping they weren’t a dud. But as the description they worked just fine and was able to sync to my nest in just minutes. I like the ability to pick which area to use the system by.

    Remote Nest Temp Sensors work great

    I admit I had to call Nest chat in order to get them fully functional but they had me up and going in just a few minutes. I had installed the Android app but something was messed up with my Google account (not a Nest problem but they helped me to solve it). Now I can m9nitor all of the room temperatures and swap control to another room whenever I want. A couple of the rooms were pushing the 50 ft spec and did not have line of sight. The Bluetooth connection is solid!

    Good product, but maybe not needed/functional in large house

    It measure the temperature in rooms and send the signals to the thermostat, however even if the algorithm to control temperature is genius, it is impossible to control the temp to be the same in all the house especially when it’s only one AC unit in large house. So in my opinion their function is limited to measurements only to measurement through the app. I wish at least they had the temp displayed locally on the unit
