The fender has a small mounting "ear" and the seller covered that with a foam block to prevent shipping damage. Then, they placed the fender into a customer made, form fitting carboard box (I mean, it was more than just a box) that was secured with string ties. Then, they placed that into another VERY sturdy shipping box! This seller is clearly committed to their customers!
