    What the doctor ordered for "stubbed" tickets.

    I was very pleased to discover this Avery product which saved me having to purchase and use a perforating tool and also manually cutting apart tickets. I took a look at the Avery online software to lay out the tickets and found it neither intuitive nor flexible. However it was easy to do the layout in my normal desktop publishing software (Serif PagePlus), complete with sequential numbering on both ticket & stub. A few pages in one package had the perforations about 1/8" offset from the accurate location 1.5" from the end of the ticket which necessitated reprints and wasted stock, but I suspect this was a fluke and hopefully not a widespread issue. I have more packages coming for a new job and will definitely check the entire stock for perforation accuracy before starting the print run. As ...

    Shame it doesn’t come in A4 size.

    Shame it doesn’t come in A4 format as it was tricky setting up the printer to US letter size but real professional tickets can be made with the free software Avery offer from their website. AveryUK don’t sell them so they have to come from the states which can take a few days so don’t leave it till a few days before your raffle as I did!
