      great option

      Based on my research this is Japanese steel imported into Taiwan for the crafting of the product. I got this knife while it was on sale and find it to be a great value. I bought a couple other Katsuras that werent on sale as well. Time will tell how they feel on a whetstone, but they seem great ootb.
