This is exactly what you expect when ordering this box, heavy duty steel construction, has many and different sized knockouts and will hold any heavy gauges of wire your looking to use with no problem..Holds generator cord at downward angle which keeps heavy cord from damaging itself from its own weight hanging straight out at 90° angle inlet plug! Nice Inlet box
I used #6 wire to wire my generator in to my house panel. It had a ton of room to run the wires so no need for sharp bends. You do need to remove the socket to install the wiring (No big deal) it comes out with the removal of 4 1/4" screws. Highly recommend.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
