I have purchased this exact product in the past - it is by far the best on the market. I purchased another look alike, and did a comparison. You can tell right off the quality difference, from the number of screws used, all the way to the bracket posts. An easy give-away is the black gasket used around the lens - the lessor quality ones are void of this. Years of use makes it a great value. Has a major flaw
I've had several Light Angels in the past and they've worked well, although they tend to stop working after about 6 months - 1 year (the lights themselves stop working, even with new batteries). But for the price, I can live with that. However, my newest one is lighting up when the motion sensor is activated even during the daytime, every time anyone walks anywhere near it. So I'm sure the batteries will wear down quickly and it will be necessary to replace them twice as often. Sooner or later I will probably just hardwire a floodlight instead of continuing to buy Light Angels.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Also used them as outside motion detector lights. Batteries last a long time and they have made the house safer for visitors as well as kept unwanted people and animals away. Light Angel serves a good purpose
The light is very helpful in lighting dark stairways. This was a replacement for a previous light which stopped working after two years. The sensor burned out. It was used every day for lighting the basement stairs. I replaced batteries twice, so it had a reasonable life span. It is not a "brilliant" light source, but is very helpful. i went for several months without it before going to look for it on the internet. I am so delighted by these lights. I've purchased 4 (so far). I got one for the storage area under my stairwell, one for our furnace room and one for a closet. They work perfectly. The only thing I would say is if you purchase it with the intention of using the adhesive strip to hang it, don't. It will fall after a day or two.
