VERY important: do NOT only test these in an external USB dock to determine if they are working or DOA. I had 2 large capacity recertified EXOS drives, both did not power up properly on a cheap USB dock. In a better dock, and internally, this one works perfectly. Will get more from Seagate store.

Nothing near as secure and protective as how ServerPartDeals ships drives, but they appear to be working fine and passed the Synology smart test so overall I'm pleased.
