Seller rarely disappoints. Have purchased quite a bit from them and will continue to do so. I'd never seen this movie before. Has a great cast and an interesting premise--three stories loosely connected to one--the principals are passengers on a ship. It's the third story, starring Kirk Douglas and Pier Angeli, I found the most compelling. The stunt work and camera angles make for good old-fashioned c. 1953 heart-stopping action.

  • Good old fashion movie with real movie stars.

This film was made during the time when movie stars really were top stars. The movies were more enjoyable and unforgettable. Today, most films are action type and you really don't need to be able to act or remember a lot of lines. In other words, if you see one of the current movies, you've seen them all. And most of all, you forget them just as fast. Give me the good old movies always!

  • Joni Mitchell watched this movie, and liked a piece of music in it.

"Reckless Daughter" David Yaffee's biography of Mitchell mentions that Joni liked the mood of a piece of music used in this film. Rachmaninoff's "Rhapsody on a Theme by Paganini. She called it 'nocturnal.' I was curious about that, and I love old movies, so I bought it.

  • Beautiful music

I first saw this movie when I was 14 years old. I was so happy to find it on eBay. Thank you very much.
