This arrived in great condition. Clean and functional. No, this is not going to make the ground feel like your mattress at home. But it will provide some insulation, and keep the rock pebbles from digging into your back while you rest. A big improvement over what the military used when I was in. Very lightweight. Both mattresses are in excellent condition. Holds air. I don’t know about the self inflating part but it took approximately 30 seconds to inflate so I am very happy with that.
