The unit was packed in the proper McIntosh double boxes, then added hard side and corner slats and wrapped in plastic. It was strapped to a small pallet with metal straps. It was delivered to my door. It looks and sounds great! Price was great. With the care taken by the seller, I will definitely buy more equipment from them in the future.
