    One of the greatest movies of all time!

    They just don’t make movies like this anymore. It is a classic that I can watch over and over and never get tired of it. This 70th anniversary revision is the original movie with great color and definition. It is left in its original format so that it fits your TV just like you would see the original movie on your TV but with superior quality. This is a must have for all those people out there who loves the classic movie Gone With The Wind with the best viewing quality.

    beautiful media adaptation of a classic film. In far too many cases an older movie which is "converted" to a modern format takes on the appearance of it being photoshopped, so to speak and the charm and bauty of the original is lost. thisis not the case in this one. the movie appears (excepting for the superior color and clarity) to be exactly as the original was. My hat (were io currently wearing one) would go off to those who took such loving care of a classic.

    A good and very enjoyable story

    Disc played perfectly well, no hang ups or scratches. Color and format were great, no problems with disc condition or quality. I hadn't seen this movie in a very long time, and enjoyed watching it again. A good story with good character study, good color quality, and amazing scenery.

    BluRay version far superior to DVD

    As far as the film itself is concerned, all the superlatives have already been used to describe it and I wouldn't presume to add my two cents. I have the DVD version and I can say that the BluRay is far superior in terms of clarity. The DVD is very dark and a lot of detail is masked. If you are a permanent fan of this film, you should own the BluRay. Watching it in BluRay is incredibly better!
