    CANON PIXMA G4200

    THE G4200 IS A FINE PRINTER SO FAR. SETUP WAS EASY OUT OF THE BOX. DON'T BOTHER SETTING UP PRINTER WITH THE CD. IMO, IT'S DRIVERS AND OTHER INFO ARE PROBABLY OUTDATED. GO TO THE WEBSITE TO SETUP. THE PRINTER DID VERY WELL OUT OF BOX. MY KODAK HERO 6.1, AFTER MANY YEARS, IS GETTING A PRINTHEAD JAM/LOCKING PROBLEM WHICH I FIXED BUT IS PROBABLY ON THE WAY OUT. WHEN THE INK IS GONE SO IS THE 6.1 HERO. NO SERVICE OR PARTS ANY LONGER, ETC. IT DOES JUST AN IOTA BETTER ON PHOTOGRAPHS AND OTHER THAN MY G4200 RIGHT NOW BUT THE G4200 IS EXTREMELY CLOSE. VERY ACCEPTABLE SO FAR. MAYBE WHEN I START USING IT REGULARLY IT WILL BE AS GOOD OR BETTER. I'VE HAD CANON'S IN THE PAST THAT PRINTED AMAZING PHOTOS. EVEN OLD ONES WAY BACK WITH THE 4 CARTRIDGES.     easy to use and good quality.

    This a personal copier, I only use a one or two times a month. the print quality is really good I us a good quality paper for printing. I haven't printed on photo paper yet But I bet it will be really good too, I have printed some pics on plain paper and they turned out real good. I use the wireless set up for my pc pretty straight forward and easy to set up. So far I am impressed over the old HP I had. I like the ink tank refill system no more cartridges to change. the unit is a bit expensive, but over the last few years I spent about 120.oo on cartridges and only printed less than 50 copies. So in that aspect I should save money. One thing I don't care for is the paper load system it sticks up and out on the back side of copier it works just fine, I would prefer a front loading tray ...

    Adequate features with ink tanks for reduced costs.

    Purchased as a replacement for a plugged-up Epson WF-3640. Love the ink tank concept. The user display is a bit disappointing compared to the backlit Epson color display. Paper feed is only from the rear. If the inkjet heads don't plug up and the print quality remains good, the reduced costs for consumables will be welcome!

    Solid printer

    The only reason I was willing to spend this kind of money on an inkjet was because this one had the tanks verses cartridges. It did come with all full size bottles to fill with. Coonecting for wi-fi printing took about 20 minutes or so, I have a Netgear router and getting the 2 of them to talk to each other was not easy. If you connected via cable it would have been simple.
