Straight out of the box the 2300T looks great. I was surprised to learn that the Co2 cartridge loads horizontally underneath the barrel. Not sure if I installed the Co2 properly but the power of this pistol is below par. Couldn't even bust a bottle at 15". I'll have to monitor the progress. 2300T is a terrific pistol and platform for modifications
This is my second Crosman air pistol the first was a 2240XL which was my wife's Christmas present. The 2240XL gets about 30 shots per cartridge. I hear gurglng when I put in a cartridge. I have ordered a new air valve and hope it will stop leaking. I was ASTONISHED when the 2300T went to 134 shots on the first cartridge before failing to fire. The upgrades are nice, adjustable sear spring as is the trigger over travel screw. Both the 2240XL and the 2300T are quite accurate.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
