    EXCELLENT PRODUCT AND VALUE!!

    Purchased this product over a month ago and have waited to give a comprehensive review. Have always used the "Golden- colored" A&D ointment; but, it is priced way-high in the stores now; so, I tried this. It was a great decision. In comparison, this product is colorless, has a pleasant lavender-oil odor and is different in its viscosity. It also contains lanolin. I think that it may also contain some Zinc. It's thicker; not axle-greasy like the Golden A&D. It doesn't smear or transfer onto your clothing, etc. once it is applied. It comes in a clean, sterile container with a screw-on lid. Also has a foil seal, to keep the contents sanitized and "safe" indefinitely. You could buy this product in quantity as it can easily be shelf-stored for long periods of time.     This product does have the petroleum base with the Vitamin A and D formula, but there is the additive of Lavender Oil that I have not found in other versions of this product. My skin has had a reaction and I think it is due to the Lavender Oil. I am not satisfied with this product and will not order it again.

    Economical A&D ointment

    This is a 15 ounce jar of A&D ointment. It is an economical way to purchase this topical ointment, It is of somewhat higher viscosity than the name brand product. That is not a positive or a negative. I have used this A&D ointment for several years. It works well and is an economical way of using A&D ointment. I put this on my feet everyday.

    Very good product.

    I believe the product is pretty good. I'm not sure of the percentage of lanolin or lavender oil in the product or of vitamins A and D, but it has a nice light fragrance and goes on very smoothly. I have very dry skin, especially in the winter, and it's great to use all over after my shower and before bed. The price was reasonable for the amount in the container, and these four containers should last me quite awhile.

    Great and Economical

    Very good ointment for diaper change and its really cheap VS major brands. Was paying $16 a piece for major brands and this is at a fraction of the cost. Case is well worth it!!!
