    Typical hero Mel Gibson stuff we love

    Mel Gibson as an American Patriot, you know it's gotta be good! It is action packed, lots of bloody gore, Mel gets the girl. Usual high impact movie from him, and he was good in this. About the civil war, and he does his usual "me against 50 guys" who all end up dead as he single handedly kills them. Good acting, older movie but the historical plotline never gets dated. I liked it. Good scenery & film color.

The ideas presented in the movie, are as relevant today, as they were in 1775, right before the American Revolution in 1776. This movie is a must for all American patriots, as well as anyone who cherishes the spirit of liberty, anywhere across the globe. Two thumbs, way up!!!
