    A classic movie, so very well done....It led us to purchase the Series "SG1", which is a spin off of this movie, and there is another spin off series, after SG1....It goes on and on, and it all starts here... a 5 Star Movie...Highly Recommend. !!!

    Comic book stuff

    I thought this movie would be like the TV series it inspired. Not so, and not nearly as good. Was not science fiction but fantasy, and probably best for kids under 14 years old. Character of arch villain was ludicrous and supposed science was straight out of a comic book. In fact, this movie was strictly comic book stuff. The scenery was pretty and that's about all that can be said for this movie.
