    rapid fire chimney starter

    arrived quickly from vender. large item that will hold a lot of charcoal. make well for the low price. it will start the charcoal using paper instead of charcoal lighter. I think it will also work as a stove to cook over. instead of putting the charcoal in a grill you could place a pot or frying pan over the unit and cook. this is just my opinion and I have not tried it yet but the charcoal gets really hot inside the unit. I would use a couple hands full of charcoal to try and cook with and find out how many pieces of charcoal will work for cooking. This is just my opinion and I guarantee nothing I am just a person that likes to camp and cook outdoors. But I am going to try it and see how it heats a frying pan. note: wood burns much hotter than charcoal so be careful trying to use ...

    Weber Comes Through Again

    In my opinion, this is simply the best value for the money. There are other brands, but they just don't stand up to this unit. I used my LAST one for 15 years before giving it away to someone who needed it. This is my replacement! If you have one of those tiny grills, get the smaller version. Otherwise, get this, STOP using lighter fluid and stinking-up the neighborhood (not to mention RUINING the flavor of your food!) Just remember to save a bit of scrap paper from weekly ads/junk mail to use as kindling...because, who even gets the newspaper anymore?

    Why did I wait so long?????

    Absolutely love my new charcoal chimney, hot coals ready in 15-20 min every time. I used to have trouble using my grill in damp rainy weather because my charcoal would take forever to light. Last Friday it was raining and I had no problems what so ever getting my grill going. My only regret is waiting so long to try one. I love it and have told severl of my friends about it.     I love this

    The item is made very durable. It was very easy to use and got my coals ready in 15 minutes. The size of this item was just the right size to fill my grill with hot coals. My grill is 16"X16". I am glad I bought this item, It made starting the coals and being ready to cook about as fast and easy as it gets. I feel every time I use this I will get the same results as long as I am using dry charcoal that I always keep inside. No charcoal lighter fluid smell anymore. I would recommend this to anybody that grills with charcoal.

    It was wrong size!

    These people were gracious enough to understand I needed a smaller chimney these Webber’s are so wonderful he said no problem without hesitation. Let me tell you how I use my chimney starter, I ONLY use charcoal kingsford my husband is a pit master I have learned everything about true bbq and smoking ribs butts brisket and fish. I don’t like the taste of lighter fluid on my food or the food I sell. I load the chimney with the right amount of coals, then using the bacon grease from my cast iron skillets I use the paper towel or two I have collected from seasoning my skillets then I wrap one piece of scratch paper, old mail what have you...... then loosely wrap second piece of scratch paper and light it on fire till it hits that bacon greased rag or until I know it has caught fire stick it ...
