The subwoofer's acoustic waves are non-directional, so it can be placed in any convenient location. Like the speakers, the kit includes foot pads for the subwoofer's feet to help with vibrations and to keep this accessory balanced on carpeting or similar surfaces.Get lost in an audio experience like you have never experienced at home with 70 watts of pushing power. This type of amplification will no doubt deliver thumping bass, bright mids, and crystal-clear treble. The Dolby Digital Pro Logic and Dolby Surround Sound ensure balanced tone and even distribution of the sounds in rooms up to 500 square feet in size. This Sony STR-K660P receiver offers dual-channel operation. With the two channels, you can connect the left and right audio cords for speakers and the coaxial cables for other accessories. This Sony product also has an optical line in for televisions and video gaming systems. A switch on the back of the Sony STR-K660P receiver allows you to switch between AM and FM radio for tuner output.This incredible receiver is configured with the user in mind. These receivers offer ease-of-use functions such as a tuner with 30 station presets. This Sony STR-K660P stereo receiver also has the ability to seamlessly integrate your devices, including TVs, Blu-ray players, and DVD players. The front of the receiver has controls for speaker balance, tone, tuner, phono, and volume. The manual volume knob is ergonomically designed and ranges from 0 dB to 100 dB of volume. The front of this Sony unit features a blue LED light to show that it is powered. After 30 minutes of no audio signal, this Sony product switches over to auto-standby mode.The Sony STR-K660P comes with an A/V Remote Commander remote control. The remote uses two AA batteries to transmit its signal from up to 30 feet away. With the remote, you can change the radio station frequency, switch from one preset channel to another, or change the mode of operation. You can also pause, repeat, or skip songs. This Sony STR-K660P also comes with an owner's manual. The manuals offer instructions on how to connect your electronics to the input and output ports.
