Good but not great!
If you have a weed eater with enough power, this device is the boom. An average weed eater bogs down in thick grass due to the number of lines that are spinning. This in turn, causes you to use more gas than when you had your normal head attached. Waaaay more gas, because if the lines are not spinning fast enough, it just pushes and tears the grass without giving you that nice clean cut. I have a Redmax BT250 with a max output of 1.2 hp, love this weedeater, never ran it at full power with the original head attached. Having trimmed my yard twice with this attachment, I ran this weedeater at full power the entire hour it takes to do the shrubs and around the edge of the house.
