Needs Improvement
I bought this trimmer head after utter frustration with the single line trimmer head that came with my ECHO weed wacker. It works-and it works well. However, the head only accepts .095 trimmer line and when edging my 120 foot drive they wear out quickly. The trimmer head would be great if and only if- it is made to accept a heavier commerical line, i.e., 1.05 trimmer line. It is way better than a single line trimmer head-but needs improvement.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good but not great!
If you have a weed eater with enough power, this device is the boom. An average weed eater bogs down in thick grass due to the number of lines that are spinning. This in turn, causes you to use more gas than when you had your normal head attached. Waaaay more gas, because if the lines are not spinning fast enough, it just pushes and tears the grass without giving you that nice clean cut. I have a Redmax BT250 with a max output of 1.2 hp, love this weedeater, never ran it at full power with the original head attached. Having trimmed my yard twice with this attachment, I ran this weedeater at full power the entire hour it takes to do the shrubs and around the edge of the house.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

might fit cheaper models, your gunna need wrenches
have echo model, not even close to fitting, instructions say on some units you have to disassemble the drive shaft, if your that good at mechanics designing your own pivot head is a no brainier. inner shaft of this unit is rather thin, even with the adapter used any serious power applied to the head will cause failure in short order, Id send it back but it was only $20 bucks, not worth my time as i spent too much on the review, Threw it in the garbageVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Doesn't work on my trimmer...
I had a Pivo-Trim head on my old gas trimmer and I loved it. I just bought a new Craftsman gas trimmer and the end of the trimmer shaft does not have a place to bolt the Pivo-Trim head to. I tried and tried to make it work and there is not an application for it. If I would have know this, I would have purchased a different trimmer to make sure I could use the Pivo-Trim head.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

No good.
It's a good concept but it didn't even make it around the yard before breaking. I used it on some tough stuff but after so many fence hits it breaks...went through the other set of strings and they are half gone. The answer to feeding trimmers and wasting line!
This product after 15 hours of use.....is a dream come true. When I have to replace the line it takes 2.5 seconds and Im back in business. The line itself is only .80mm though there are 4 of them. The product claims it will make your line last 10x long. So far I would say it makes it last longer than that. I had to make a small adjustment to plastic insert and use old bolt... Cut collar off of (plastic) insert with hack saw to shorten up; use old bolt because of left hand threads to get a wrench on it... Homelite trimmer... and add flat washer that comes with new head and works perfectly... I'm still happy with the product and works very well..!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great product
I have a side lawn business, so this thing gets plenty of use. I haven't had a single issue with it. I pre cut a bunch of string but it is not eating it up that fast. I get about 5 yards done with one replacement of all four. It was a quick, easy install with all hardware included for various makes of trimmers.
