    Empire State Building Review

    I enjoyed the tape although it included a lot of history of the time that I did not expect. However, it is good to remember that this magnificent building was built in 1929 during the great depression. So the history is valuable. It does cover the construction of the building and the many problems with designing and building such a massive building in the middle of New York City. I would purchase it again and consider it a great value.

    Worth viewing but not his best work

    I like everything Ken Burns does but I believe this was his first documentary and it shows. To me it felt like an excellent college project. Perhaps that is because I am working on my own documentary. Still, after taking the Ken Burns Master Class I have a new appreciation for the overwhelming amount of time and preparation that goes into his documentaries. I highly recommend his master class.

    Amazing history and very informative

    This is the most interesting piece of film making that I have seen in many years. I am more impressed by the producer than I would have expected. This is well worth the price of the CD. Great buy and this IS a beautiful bridge. I never knew what a casson was until I saw this CD
