    Dewalt battery operated weed eater.

    Dewalt weed wacker lithium ion 20 volt. It has good enough power to do around your house. It is not for industrial use. It will works fine around the home. It just does not hold very big string. It works with my drill batteries also. Best of all, no gas , and no worries about getting it running.

    Difficulte (for me) to use

    It might be me but i am having a difficult time making much progress. The line keeps breaking inside and i have to take it apart and restring it. It is not easy to take it apart and am not certain how long i will keep up the struggle.To trim along my sidewalks and driveway take me at least an hour. I am going to be looking for a different kind.

    Great surprise

    I was reluctant to buy a cordless trimmer because I assumed it would be underpowered and eat batteries. I was wrong on both ends. This bad boy ate through 3 ft. tall grass with ease-that would have bogged down my mower. I used a fresh 6ah battery to start off with. After 45 minutes I checked the power and it was still showing 3 bars! Amazing. Just remember all....it only cuts in a 13 inch diameter. It's sturdy, much lighter than a gas model" and well built. I was quite pleasantly surprised at the effectiveness of this tool. Besides....one looks cool doing yard work with a bright yellow and QUIET trimmer.

    The tool works great, good power, does the job of cutting the weeds. My only concern is ergonomic in nature due to the pole being too long. It would be nice if the pole was adjustable in length to bring the trigger handle closer to the business end of the trimmer. Other than that, it is great.

    My experience with the cordless trimmer

    The string trimmer has plenty of power and easy to use. I love the portability of a battery powered tool. The unit is not balanced even though I moved the handle as far down as is it will go. I do notice when I trim grass a lot of the cuttings wind up on my pants leg. Probably nothing can be done considering the cutting process but is is annoying. .I would recommend it .
