The closest thing to a perfect alarm clock
Everything about the clock: the large size of the face, the angle, and the background is great. What’s wonderful is the way it automatically lights up green after the regular nightstand lamp is turned off. It is highly visible but, unlike other backlit clocks, doesn’t blind you with its intensity. It is the closest thing to a perfect alarm clock I’ve ever had and would be perfect if the numbers on the clock face were serif, but that’s being too nit picky. Hi tech easy to use without reading instructions.
Hi Tech alarm clock easy to use. The face (dial) glows very uniform green; also, has a light sensor to turn off the dial light in daytime. A adjustment wheel knob to adjust the green brightness is on the back. The whole dial turns very bright blue when the snooze button on top of clock is pushed. Can be used as a flashlight if needed. The alarm starts very softly and progresses to very loud if not turned off. Had the clock a week now and the alarm setting has not moved on it own still set for 8:00. The clock has gained 1 second a day typical for a new Quartz movement. The second hand is continuous sweep with no ticking. Takes 3 AA batteries checking now on how long they last with dial adjusted to full green brightness.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
