My hair is both fine and thin. But wIth 3 pumps of this product massaged into damp hair, followed by blow dry styling, I get great volume. I believe that a mousse product provides more volume than Thicken Up;however, I find them so drying that I can never get my brush through my hair. So, for me, I prefer Thicken Up as a really nice daily alternative to fighting with mousse.

The product is ok. It's a gel. I didn't notice my hair seeming thicker when I used it, at least not much. It does make my fine hair staticky (as in static electricity). My hair is straight and sleek normally, but this made it more stick straight like straw. Curling it made that ok. Not really impressed, though, so probably won't buy again.

I'm not the biggest fan of Paul Mitchell products but I got this is a travel version and later bought the regular size. It adds body and shine while keeping the hair smooth and moving. My hair is thin so the extra body is what I need. I'm happy with finally finding the right product.

I have used Paul Mitchell Thicken Up for quite a few years, and I love it. It doesn't make the hair feel dirty like a gel or mousse does. Also holds the style without feeling heavy. I highly recommend this product.

A bit expensive but a good product fo my thin hair. Unfortunately, most products for thin hair tend to be expensive, preying on vulnerable individuals who will try any to make their look better!
