I've used this product before and found it simple to put together and use, I'm afraid that the fragility of this device is light that I fear its life expectancy may be somewhat short, although I am using one like it and it is still functioning well, but this one has not been used but being held aside as a backup to the one currently in use.

TV3 modulator still has a purpose
The kids room needed a way to see the same picture that’s on my bedroom tv. I hardly watch in that room, so sharing a signal is acceptable. Getting HDMI 40’ to the kids room was just stupid, with a splitter and box of pricey cable that I can’t fish thru walls. TV3 analog modulator to the rescue. A cheap chunk of RG6, a pair of F ends, and a quick discreet hole thru my walls and it’s running. For a year I used a broken VCR to create the same signal, but this sucker is tons smaller and easily hidden. 20 years into the HD revolution, and my grandkids have no idea I’m sticking composite RF on their Paw Patrol programs.
