Just a fair product
You get what you pay for. LED stopped working 5 minutes after use. Sound quality is mediocre. They never stated the speakers were for high output, and they aren't Nice set for the price.

I had a set of speakers for an outdoor movie night that were okay, but needed better ones. WOW. I am impressed. These are great, very clear HD sound and for a small backyard you really think you have surround sound. I am impressed. Even better was that they arrived in under 24 hours after ordering them. Amazed.

One reviewer said they lack a dial for base adjustment; well, mine HAVE a volume knob on the base unit! Read the instructions, LOOK at your product, and well, geez, they cost 30 bucks!! What do you expect? Spend to your expectations!!! My opinion: Crystal clear sound, nice thump, good rich sound quality, and way more value than cost. We are shocked to get this quality for $30 (total with shipping). Better than the big box speakers a DJ friend gave us. I listen at work and even the guy in the next office says they sound great. I set them up with the base under the desk and a speaker on each corner facing me. The volume wheel sits beside my computer so I can turn them down fast when I need to. I listen to everything from Alan Parsons through Elton John, Evanescence, Disturbed, Johnny Cash, ... Worth much more than the $35 I paid.
Have the same experience most of the reviewers have: with the bass on the floor, and the two small speakers either side of the computer - the sound is great! I've got a set of two Bose speakers on my other computer, and I think these are better with the bass unit. Got them for my wife to use while watching the TV shows she missed and streams off the 'Net. Now she likes it better than TV (we've just got TVs with internal speakers). Not a substitute for the expensive home theater sets, or for a high-end music system.
