After many eBay purchases this is the first time I've felt compelled to leave negative feedback. The item being sold was not as described: it was 18 inches instead of 16 inches and 8mm wide instead of 5mm. When I contacted the seller they said they didn't know how the error occurred and the piece was much more valuable than what I paid- I couldn't see how that was my issue- they measured and set the price! They did make the return but weren't familiar with the process and took a long time.

Hi there. When you reached out to us, we immediately apologized for the mistake and said we shipped the wrong item. Mistakes do happen. We had two similar pieces in stock. We did mention it was actually a more valuable piece than we should have shipped. We never once mentioned anything was your fault, nor would we. We accepted the return after the request, but you were not able to access the shipping label, which you worked out with eBay, the refund was then issued once we received the piece.
