    Full sound, small footprint

    I ordered these used and initially had concerns regarding the small woofer size. These speakers have a “sub-out” and I attached an old home theater sub to them. Works great ( I *may* add an attenuator or eq of some sort, as my sub has neither a volume knob nor a crossover frequency adjustment). The small footprint of these monitors allows me angle them properly on the shelf. I do get a bit of crackle (if I move them) from what is probably a loose output to the left speaker or the stereo input jack. I do not know if this is of any general concern, because I bought them second-hand. I know that it is good to mix through various sets of speakers, but this pair puts me in no rush to immediately augment my collection. They perform their function well.

    Great secondary monitors to check for bass (how it show up on everyday computer monitors) and harshness in a recording studio. Plus great primary monitors if you're just starting out with computer music recording and are on a budget.
