    Enticing armchair adventure for Francophile foodies

    If you delight in all things French, you will be delighted with this book. Whether you have already traveled to France, are planning to go there in the future, or are just an armchair tourist, Linda Dannenberg's cookbook will transport you there in the turn of a page. A beautiful book with brief histories of various bakeries and bakers along with recipes for specialities at which they excell. Who ever was responsible for compiling the book was meticulous with typeface, layout, and photographs. I would recommend Paris Boulangerie-Patisserie not so much as a cookbook, but more as a preparation for traveling to France for a gastronomic adventure.

    Making it a different trip to Paris

    This book is a must have for Pain and patisserie lovers. It present Shops and their owners along with their recipes. Most of them are difficult to make though. very well done book. You can feel Linda Dannenberg took great effort to introduce each shop owner and his shop. Very nice
