Loving 3D in my home
While the storylines are getting predictable it is still a monster-bashing, gore-filled zombie flick which has enough surprises to keep its audience interested. The special effects are amazing, especially in 3D(have not seen 2D version), and the Resident Evil franchise can still boast that they have the coolest decapitations on record. Great effects, mediocre movie.
I have all the other Resident Evil movies so I wanted to add this to my collection as well. I just recently purchased a 3D TV and figured I'll give the 3D version a shot. Let me say watching this movie in 3D was a treat. The effects/visuals were amazing especially in 3D although the story was lacking. This out of all the Resident Evil movies so far was the most lacking in plot. The entire movie was just a excuse to throw in cool fight scenes and visual effects with new 3D tech. I enjoyed watching the movie but I'm glad I waited to see this on video. Its a good flick just not something you should go running to see.I have all the other Resident Evil movies so I wanted to add this to my collection as well. Resident Evil : Afterlife 3d
I saw this movie in the theater when it first came out in 3D, and it is excellent. The action never stops through the whole movie. None of the other resident evil movies are available in 3D, so this makes it a one of a kind. Also, this is the best 3D movie that I have seen yet. I do not know of any other movie out there yet in 3D that has this many special effects in it. If you have a 3D blu ray collection, this one has to be in it, if you are collecting action movies.I saw this movie in the theater when it first came out in 3D, and it is excellent.
