I bought the Samsung ML 2510 because I broke mine when the paper jammed. I bought the first one seven years ago from the Salvation Army thrift store for $10. It is a LaserJet Monochrome printer. Some of the features: prints 24 pages per minute, 1200 x 600 dpi effective print output, holds 250 sheets of plain paper, and output tray holds 100 sheets, a Manual tray for one sheet of envelopes, labels, transparencies, custom-sized materials, postcards and heavy paper. The software has a toner saving option and provides other useful options like watermarking and manual printing on both sides of paper and print a single sheet of paper for multipage documents. The majority of documents I print are in black and white. When I need to print color documents or photos, I use it to print black and white drafts before I use my color printer to save my color ink. Samsung has newer models with more features but I prefer to buy a used one because it meets all my needs and I save money too.Read full review

Ran my old Samsung ML-1710 into the ground. 33,000+ pages for a relatively cheap printer. Running on remanufactured cartridges. Finally died just after I got this one in the mail. Great timing. Pulled out of the box which was completely intact, thank you USPS! Other than some software fiddling due to my own mess, this printer was online and working in 10 minutes. So far, prints fast, looks smaller than the old one. Will update this a couple of months. We run 24# paper, and have no paper jams to report.

I already had this model in my office and needed another one for my shop computer which I had upgraded to an 2006 Imac. The Samsung ML1740 in the shop did not work with the Imac due to unavailable drivers. Knowing the ML 2510 works with my office Imac I bought this one for my shop. A great value. It's working perfectly!

I have used a Samsung b&w printer for years. It has proved to be a reliable machine. So, when I needed a second printer I purchased the ML-2510 black and white. The new machine is smaller and faster but construction feels a lot cheaper. At the moment I'm very happy with the purchase. If I have any complaints it would be first that the paper tray in this model is not hidden inside. Obviously, to make the printer smaller this had to be. The second issue would be that the paper tray holds only 250 sheets which is half what my older model holds. Third, there doesn't appear to be a separate tray for single sheet and envelope printing. But I can live with these things as long as the printer is reliable. So far so good, but we'll see. I am a bit concerned about the flimsy construction.
Great printer, dual interface connections are a real plus. Lends itself to any adapter for wireless printing. Only problem is arrogance in installing interface software. They make the control interface software come on when windows loads, whether or not the printer is your main printer or not, and there is no option for not having it comes on when windows loads, so it is necessary to exit it every time one doesn't need it to avoid using up resources unnecessaryly. Other than that it is a great printer with fast printing and excelent paper handling.
