    A solid board for those wishing to re use older AM2 +CPUs , older DDR 2 memory in a dual boot configuration..

    Great board for dual booting Windows 10 and Win XP. Performance is smooth for overall basic computing and light Gaming in windows 10. Fantastic for retro gamming in Windows XP.

    Great replacement for M2N78-LA (Violet) Motherboard.

    Bought ASUS M3A78-CM motherboard to replace M2N78-LA that started to fail (see HP forum for well known chip issue). Worked with no issues but had to figure out F-Panel connection due to the difference in pin socket (horizontal vs. vertical). Check diagram at Re: m8530f desktop PC with a m2n78-la mother board doesn't s... - Page 20 - HP Support Forum - 181716 for idea and solution. Boot up with no issues and reinstalled Win7 and upgraded to Win10.

    Rock Solid, performance when you need it.

    May be legends start out no where. This motherboard has prove over the years What corporate stable motherboard means. Simply what anyones wants. Relliable, Performance on Ram, performance on SAta and Good Video for most of usual needs, not to mention that i paired this even with a Phenom X6. This is a really Rock Solid piece from ASUS.
