First Gear 1/34 scale diecast 1957 International R-190 stake truck
This is a First Gear 1/34 scale diecast model of mid-1950's R-190 International truck with a stake bed. International Harvester produced the R series beginning in 1953 through the early 1960's. First Gear offered models of the medium-duty International R series as R-190 and R-200. These being R and not RD indicate they would have gasoline engines. The R-190 had a gross vehicle weight rating of 21,000 lbs and used a Red Diamond 372 cu in six cylinder engine of 165 HP and had a 6 volt electrical system. The First Gear R-190 models come with disc wheels and smaller tires than the heavier weight class R-200 which comes with cast spoke wheels and larger tires. The R-190 model offers the fine detail associated with First Gear 1/34 truck models except that the disk wheels should have more detail, ...
